Take a break and join us for Ties Time, our monthly virtual gathering for the Type 1 Diabetes community the first Tuesday of each month. Meet others who understand the everyday realities of T1D, exchange ideas, ask questions, and leave feeling encouraged and connected.
Type 1 Ties gathered families and individuals impacted by Type 1 Diabetes for a relaxed afternoon in the park filled with conversation, laughter, and new friendships. Bracelet making and exchanges were a big hit too! Surrounded by nature and a welcoming community, attendees had the opportunity to meet others who understand the challenges and celebrations of life with T1D.
Type 1 Ties brought the community together for a fun-filled day at an amusement park where families could focus on making memories beyond diabetes. The event celebrated the joy, independence, and resilience of people living with T1D while creating opportunities for kids and families to meet others along the journey.
Type 1 Ties embraced the winter season with a day of snow tubing, outdoor fun, and community spirit. Participants enjoyed an active day together while proving that Type 1 Diabetes does not have to limit adventure. From the first trip down the hill to conversations over hot chocolate, the day was filled with memories and meaningful moments.
Type 1 Ties brought families together for a day of learning, exploration, and discovery at the Smithsonian museums in Washington, DC.
